The Brief

Wellcamp Airport QLD required a hangar for the operation of an air-freight company and the new airport facility.

The hangar needed to include a full width opening for large hangar doors at one end to allow numerous aircraft to operate from the hangar.

The structure also needed to include offices and an attractive architectural finish at the front.

Our Innovative Solution

A high level of finish was very important in the final outcome.

Everything was completed with a clean professional finish.

This included the design and construction of a façade at the front, and a fully painted hangar interior.

We worked closely with a team of professional painters and office fitters.

The custom steel building was manufactured and painted in house, before being assembled on site.

The office interior fit-out and facade was then completed by a third party contractor.
