Deliver a compliant, multi-purpose COLA to support a basketball court, physical education and all-weather learning.
The structure needed to integrate with existing buildings and walkways, provide reliable weather protection, and create a connected, functional space for daily school use.

Our Innovative Solution

TechSpan partnered with the client to develop a practical, site-aligned solution that worked with the existing school layout.

We designed, engineered and manufactured a curved roof COLA featuring circular structural columns, delivering both structural efficiency and a clean architectural finish.

COLORBOND® roof sheeting was combined with translucent panels to introduce natural light, improving usability throughout the day.

To ensure seamless integration with the surrounding infrastructure, we incorporated a connecting cover between the COLA, adjacent walkways and classroom buildings. This allows safe, continuous movement for students and staff in all weather conditions.

The result is a durable, fit-for-purpose structure designed to support active school environments and everyday use.
