Luddenham NSW School Cola

A primary school in Luddenham NSW, required a large cover for a multi-purpose outdoor space that include a basketball court, physical education and all weather learning area.

We worked closely with our client to completely understand their needs, location and site requirements.

Our Innovative Solution

The team at Techspan designed, engineered and manufactured a curved roof design that features circular structural columns.

Colourbond roof sheeting was used with the addition of translucent panels to allow for natural light to flow into the space.

The cola was positioned adjacent to covered walkways and a main classroom buildings – it was important to incorporate a cover between the building and the cola area to integrate with the existing infrastructure and allow all weather access for teachers and students.

Measuring 19m wide, 32m long and an eave height of 5m, the result is a high-quality COLA that looks great and is ‘Structured to Work’.
