Deliver a compliant COLA to provide additional undercover space for learning and play.
The structure needed to integrate with existing buildings and walkways, while improving student protection and usability in all weather conditions.

Our Innovative Solution

TechSpan partnered with the school to develop a practical, site-aligned solution that worked seamlessly with the existing campus layout.

We designed, engineered and manufactured a 13.5m x 28m COLA, positioned to connect directly with existing undercover walkways, classrooms and amenities. This created a continuous protected space, improving movement and usability across the school.

The structure delivers reliable weather protection while maintaining a clean, functional design suited to everyday school use.

The result is a durable, fit-for-purpose COLA that meets Department of Education requirements and supports consistent use throughout the year.
