Casula High School Cola

A school in Casula, NSW, needed a large cover for a multi-purpose double basketball court, physical education and learning area.

The Brief

Deliver a compliant, multi-use COLA that could cover two full basketball courts while supporting physical education, assembly and everyday learning.
The structure needed to meet Department of Education requirements, suit site conditions, and provide clear, unobstructed space with appropriate height for sport.

Our Innovative Solution

TechSpan partnered closely with the client to define a buildable, compliant outcome from the outset.
We designed, engineered and manufactured a 40m x 40m curved roof COLA with a 6.5m clearance, allowing for full basketball and volleyball use without compromise.
